The basics

What is Google Ads?

Google Ads is Google's advertising system. It puts your business in the sponsored spots at the top of the search results.

When someone searches "plumber near me", the first results are often ads, marked "Sponsored". Businesses pick the searches they want to show up for, and pay only when someone clicks their ad.

Paying more doesn't guarantee the top spot. Google also looks at how well your ad and page match the search. Good ads and pages often cost less per click and show up higher.

What goes into it

The four parts of a good campaign

Get one wrong and you pay for clicks that never turn into customers.

  • Keywords

Choosing the searches your ads show up for. Words people use when they are ready to buy, not just browsing.

  • Ads

The words people see. Clear headlines that match the search and give a reason to click on you.

  • Landing pages

Where the click goes. A page that matches the ad and makes it easy to call, book or buy.

  • Budget and tracking

Spending where it pays. Tracking which ads bring calls and sales, and moving money toward them.

How it works

What we do, step by step

  1. Step 1: We learn your goals

What a new customer is worth to you, your budget and what you want people to do: call, book or buy.

  2. Step 2: We research keywords

The searches your customers make, how much clicks on them cost and which ones are worth paying for.

  3. Step 3: We build the campaign

Ad groups, ads and settings like location and schedule, so you only show up for the right people.

  4. Step 4: We set up tracking

Calls, forms and bookings tracked, so you can see which ads bring in customers.

  5. Step 5: We test the ads

A/B tests of different headlines and wording, keeping the ones that get more people to act.

  6. Step 6: We report and adjust

Plain-language updates on what you spent and what you got, and changes based on what is working.

then we keep testing: the best ad is the next one

Questions people ask about Google Ads

What is Google Ads?

Google's advertising system. It lets your business show up in the sponsored spots at the top of Google search results, and you pay when someone clicks your ad.

How much does Google Ads cost?

You choose your budget, and Google will not go over it. What each click costs depends on your industry and how many businesses bid on the same searches. We help you pick a budget that makes sense.

How fast will I see results?

Ads can start showing the day they go live, so visits can start right away. Results usually improve over the first weeks as we test the ads and drop what does not work.

Do I pay if no one clicks?

No. With search ads, you pay when someone clicks your ad, not when it is shown.

Should I do Google Ads or SEO?

Often both. Ads bring visits right away while SEO builds up, and SEO keeps bringing visits without paying per click. We help you pick what fits your budget.

Can I stop my ads at any time?

Yes. Ads can be paused whenever you like. Just keep in mind that visits from ads stop as soon as the ads do.
